De Kop - Following bad result in Man City last several matches, Liverpool should managed Man City on their visit to the Etihad Stadium. Last meeting the two had draw 1-1 with Liverpool being the host.  Man City was being test with their capacity of rich boy club to steady the challenge to grab the Premier league title.

Liverpool lately become the strongest defense in the league with only netted 14 goals by others but need sharp finisher as their front man not score much enough and need some lucky charm due to they had struck the goal keeper bar for 17 times.

Gerrard's present in the last much brought Carrol some chances through the long pass made by Gerrard. As Carrol last goal to Man City by header it would made City to defend him more..

Liverpool needs Playmaker

De Kop - Should Liverpool add a player this January transfer's window, the one they should bring is a playmaker. Because playmaker is the missing link so far in the midfield area. The lost of Steven Gerrard in the early stages of the campaign showed that the replacement not well handed hold by Lucas Leiva nor Charlie Adam. It is still a question why Liverpool let Alberto Aquilani leaved Anfield to San Siro as he could bring new song to the Liverpool midfield rhythm.

In the era of Gerrard Houllier, Liverpool succeed to have rhythm in the midfield by entering Garry McAllister to be side by side with Steven Gerrard. McAllister could hold the ball and break the defense with his tremendous ball keeping as he also played a very good pass. McAllister could maintained the tempo while Steven Gerrard remained the most thread in the midfield area.

Later on Liverpool already had found the playmaker in the name of Xabi Alonso and Mascherano but both player were not satisfied by the management. So If ever Liverpool to stable and conquer the premier league they should bring a playmaker.

De Kop - Barcelona was busy answering rumors surrounding the conflict between the duo striker David Villa and Lionel Messi. In contrast, Liverpool actually get the wind to harness the conflict.

According to Sport, published in Catalan, Liverpool will try to bring Villa in the winter transfer window, in January 2012. The Reds regard Villa as the best replacement for Fernando Torres who had moved to Chelsea.

Three Liverpool striker is currently considered to be not satisfactory. Luis Suarez play too forward. Dirk Kuyt decreased appearance this season. While Andy Carrol slowly  to adapt  at Anfield. Pro-Barcelona newspaper considers Liverpool to gain momentum due to rumors of dissension between Villa and Messi. De Kop - Former Liverpool idol, Michael Owen suffered a thigh injury while strengthening Otelul Galati win over Manchester United 2-0 in Champions League. 31 years old striker who has rarely played as a starter is actually played on the front line with Dimitar Berbatov Manchester United.

Unfortunately, only 10 minutes on the pitch, Owen suffered an injury. Luckily, Manchester United was already 1-0 up by Antonio Valencia's strike at the 8th minute.

"This is a blow to Owen," said Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has he told ESPN. "He suffered a thigh muscle problem and this is very strange. I feel sorry him . It's hard to say how long he will be absent."

Owen also expressed his upset on Twitter: "Unfortunately I have another injury. In fact, I was in the spirit and work hard to add a goal for Manchester United after Valencia's goal. I don't know when I can play later on."

"I hope this is not serious and I am back in action soon. I do not want to get too upset. Thankfully, we can win to go top of the group," continued Owen.

Owen position immediately replaced by Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez. Meanwhile, other United striker, Wayne Rooney played in midfield. Rooney scored United's second goal on 87 minutes.

This victory led the Red Devils top of Group C above Basel that held Benfica 1-1. MU will host Benfica in the next match at Old Trafford, at the end of this month.

The opponent on the game spread from the big four to the mediocre or lower table. Liverpool only missed a three points on one occasion in their home game on 2007-2008 season against Arsenal and away game against Blackburn on 2004-2005 season with the game end up in a draw.

This season Liverpool game week #10  faced WBA, a non promotion team on this season. Liverpool should have a positive result following their statistic game week #10 in the last decade.

The Liverpool Duo Get Dynamic

Liverpool sank West Bromwich Albion (2-0)

DeKop - Liverpool's duo strikers Carrol and Suarez proved that they can be the dynamic duo as expected by the fans following positive result against West Bromwich Albion last night. Liverpool starting XI captained by Pepe Reina after Carra and Gerrard had to miss the match following injury they had at the league cup. Steven Gerrard with an ankle infection and Jamie Carragher with a calf strain.

Liverpool led by penalty goal scored by Charlie Adam in the 9th minutes following a fouled by Thomas to Suarez at the edge of the penalty box. The referee looked uncertain to give the penalty until the linesman flagged up. Adam stepped up brilliantly as he didn't miss like the way his prior mate Kuyt and Suarez. 

Carrol and Suarez had convincingly dynamic through the game as they involved in one-two and opened up space for each other. Suarez liked to feed Carrol on high ball as Carrol set a space when Suarez got the ball. The duo dynamic found they effort finally in the 45th minutes after Liverpool's break  from Lucas set up nicely to wide area to get Suarez and with one timed pass through middle by Suarez made Carrol had chance to face one on one with WBA's goal keeper, with a slight through ball Carrol found the net and scored.

De Kop - Liverpool will continue their premier league campaign today by hosting West Brom at Anfield. Last 2 matches that ended draw had let Liverpool in fifth in the table. A win in the league cup two days ago gave the Kenny Dalglish's squad confident that they could perform a well. Liverpool needs three points to secure their title race

As Manchester Utd to face Liverpool's neighbor Everton, Arsenal to have big clash against Chelsea and later on Newcastle try to stay in good form by visiting Stoke City. These three matches result could impact Liverpool position in the table as well as Tottenham v QPR. Liverpool needs to show a world class title contender by producing a lot of goals and convincing win against mediocre teams.  

Luis Suarez superb performance in the match against Stoke City could led the team-mate to step up as well. Andy Carrol slowly found his rhythm to the game while Bellamy prepare as the super sub. Liverpool must maintain the midfield area along to the 90 minutes if they want to hold the match with a victory.

De Kop - Liverpool's new young midfielder, Jordan Henderson, believes striker Andy Carroll began to shine with the Reds. Although at the beginning of this season appear less convincing Carroll, Henderson is optimistic it will again showed his ability as a dangerous striker.

"I think Andy has been brilliant in the face of Stoke," said Henderson. "He's very hardworking, and sometimes assist in the defense, and he often won the duel air and he had plenty of opportunities," continued Henderson as Tribal Football.

At the beginning of this season, Carroll was less flashy appearance with other Liverpool strikers like Luis Suarez. Carroll of eight appearances in the Premier League, scored only once.

While Suarez, from nine appearances has scored four goals. Uruguayan international has also joined Liverpool in January earlier this year, together with Carroll. Andy was left in the bench when Liverpool got hold again in last the premier league matchagainst Norwich. His 10 minutes appearance in the second did not work at all. And it was a surprised when Dalglish mentioned him in the starting XI at league cup against Stoke.

"He (Carroll) has a lot to contribute. He has done it while training and we all know what he's done," said Henderson. 

"I do not think there is a problem with commitment Andy (Carroll). He is a very good player and he has shown at practice every day," explained Henderson

Gerrard : Bringing back European champion's night to Anfield

This season, Liverpool could not taste the intense competition both the Europa League and European Champions League. Poor performances last season became the cause of the Reds finished ranked seventh Premier League standings.

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is determined, this season his team should be able to rise from adversity. At least, Liverpool could play again in the Champions League.

"It's hard just being able to watch on TV on Tuesday or Wednesday night and knowing we were not involved in the competition. Struggling to return to the Champions League sooner the better," said Gerrard.

Not only in Europe that will be targeted Gerrard. The British player also hopes his team does not forget the FA Cup and Carling Cup. According to him, two trophies were also important for the club.

"Because now we are only involved in three competitions. We must focus on both (the FA Cup and Carling Cup) as well," he explained.

Daglish happy with Liverpool 'play'

Liverpool win after had left earlier to Stoke City. Kenny Dalglish was pleased to see how to get his squad to victory.
