Liverpool led by penalty goal scored by Charlie Adam in the 9th minutes following a fouled by Thomas to Suarez at the edge of the penalty box. The referee looked uncertain to give the penalty until the linesman flagged up. Adam stepped up brilliantly as he didn't miss like the way his prior mate Kuyt and Suarez.

Carrol and Suarez had convincingly dynamic through the game as they involved in one-two and opened up space for each other. Suarez liked to feed Carrol on high ball as Carrol set a space when Suarez got the ball. The duo dynamic found they effort finally in the 45th minutes after Liverpool's break  from Lucas set up nicely to wide area to get Suarez and with one timed pass through middle by Suarez made Carrol had chance to face one on one with WBA's goal keeper, with a slight through ball Carrol found the net and scored.

In the second half, Liverpool should have been led by three if the ball from Suarez strike didn't strike the post. Liverpool really dominated the second half as WBA's Roy Hodgson seemed had no other option for his front men beside Odemwingie after Shane Long had injured.

After 90 minutes the Reds finally hold their clean sheet and brought three points to settle them in the fifth place of the table of Barclays Premier League. The game itself was pretty fair since only one card were showed by referee.
