Liverpool needs Playmaker

De Kop - Should Liverpool add a player this January transfer's window, the one they should bring is a playmaker. Because playmaker is the missing link so far in the midfield area. The lost of Steven Gerrard in the early stages of the campaign showed that the replacement not well handed hold by Lucas Leiva nor Charlie Adam. It is still a question why Liverpool let Alberto Aquilani leaved Anfield to San Siro as he could bring new song to the Liverpool midfield rhythm.

In the era of Gerrard Houllier, Liverpool succeed to have rhythm in the midfield by entering Garry McAllister to be side by side with Steven Gerrard. McAllister could hold the ball and break the defense with his tremendous ball keeping as he also played a very good pass. McAllister could maintained the tempo while Steven Gerrard remained the most thread in the midfield area.

Later on Liverpool already had found the playmaker in the name of Xabi Alonso and Mascherano but both player were not satisfied by the management. So If ever Liverpool to stable and conquer the premier league they should bring a playmaker.

Upcoming January transfer Liverpool checks their pocket to strengthen the team

De Kop - Liverpool FC still bubbled in the premier league, the new signings content Suarez, Carrol, Henderson, Downing, Enrique, Coates, Bellamy and Adam could not match so far the magnificent Manchester United nor City.

Even the premier league had a surprised so far as Newcastle stand in top three. Liverpool signings were questioned because some the signing brought no impact so far. Carrol and Henderson among those who don't seem worth the high price. So January transfer are ahead should King Kenny loaded more player to the Kop.

Villa eyed by Liverpool this January

"Liverpool wanted to take advantage of the rumors. "
De Kop - Barcelona was busy answering rumors surrounding the conflict between the duo striker David Villa and Lionel Messi. In contrast, Liverpool actually get the wind to harness the conflict.
According to Sport, published in Catalan, Liverpool will try to bring Villa in the winter transfer window, in January 2012. The Reds regard Villa as the best replacement for Fernando Torres who had moved to Chelsea.

Three Liverpool striker is currently considered to be not satisfactory. Luis Suarez play too forward. Dirk Kuyt decreased appearance this season. While Andy Carrol slowly  to adapt  at Anfield. Pro-Barcelona newspaper considers Liverpool to gain momentum due to rumors of dissension between Villa and Messi. "Liverpool wanted to take advantage of the rumors. "
Liverpool has not released the amount of money that will be offered to Barcelona. However, Villa still predicted to persist at the Camp Nou.

Liverpool's camp was not just after the Villa. Manager Kenny Dalglish is also interested in the Mali midfielder, Seydou Keita. According to El Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool had to approach Barca. The Reds got a rival to hook Keita from Russian club, Anzhi Makhachkala. Former colleagues are now strengthening Anzhi Keita, Samuel Eto'o was mentioned already give recommendations.

Keita is rarely performed for Barca this season. Midfielder 31 years is only five-time starter in 11 games of La Liga. In fact, Keita became the first recruits since coach Pep Guardiola in charge at Barca.
Keita was imported from Seville in 2008. He was still under contract at the Nou Camp until 2014. Keita was priced £ 14 million by Barcelona.

Another Disappointing Match

Anfield Gank came disappointed again (Liverpool 0 - 0 Swansea City)

De Kop - Liverpool yet to have a stable performance in the field as they were held in a draw 0 - 0 against the new comer Swansea City. The duo didn't work at all until 75 minutes there are no golden moments created by them.

Liverpool having a lack of creativity in the midfield area whereas Adam and Lucas were supposed to be to flow the ball into the wide area or pass through the middle did not make much of it. Wonder boy Henderson had another upset night as his movement to spread the defense of Swansea City had nothing to influence. He had replaced by Kuyt in second half who scored a disallowed goal at the edge of 90 minutes.

It's Swansea who should have taken a lead if the striker Allen didn't missed from a closed of penalty box. His strike flew over the goal keeper. Swansea midfield man had very tough night to stop the variance of Liverpool's midfielder who were much to be a defensive midfielder as they worked no creativity at all.

The draw was the fourth in this season and most of them held at Anfield which today they had they owner watching the a goalless game.

Statistic said: Liverpool never to loose on game week #10

liverpool
Liverpool's Game Statistic on Game Week #10 in the last decade show no Loses

De Kop – Liverpool’s statistic showed an amazing record for game week #10 on Barclays Premier League in the last decade from 2001-2002 seasons. The Reds held six home games and four away games with a statistic eight wins and two draws in the game week #10.

The opponent on the game spread from the big four to the mediocre or lower table. Liverpool only missed a three points on one occasion in their home game on 2007-2008 season against Arsenal and away game against Blackburn on 2004-2005 season with the game end up in a draw.

This season Liverpool game week #10  faced WBA, a non promotion team on this season. Liverpool should have a positive result following their statistic game week #10 in the last decade.

Andy Caroll and Luis Suarez had found the rhymed of their play last week against Stoke. But there is still a doubt that Gerrard will play following his ankle infection last Friday. WBA may not be new comer for BPL this season but they have prove so far that they can manage the rivalry of BPL in the table. So it may not be an easy win for Liverpool and they should not just rely on the statistic.
