Starting XI Surprised
Welcome back Steven Gerrard, as he was listed in the starting XI against Manchester Utd last night. After six months out that was the first he wore the arm band captain, but it looks like Dalglish sacrificing Andy Carrol in instead. Liverpool seemed to start with powerful midfielder supoorting lone striker Luis Suarez who last season was tearing apart the Manchester Utd defense.

Into The Game
First half was nothing just a scramble in the midfield area not so much attention and in the defense area of each  team. The game was really lightened up in the second half. As Liverpool started to push in the early minutes of second half. Accommodating the side by Enrique and Downing, finally in 68 minutes Ferdinand made a fault in front of the box and it was Charlie Adam to take the free kick in the first place but later on Steven Gerrard set his mind to ask Adam to leave the free-kick to him. It was a perfect vision at last as Giggs who stand in the barrier tried to avoid the ball from Gerrard's strike but instead the ball was slightly fast to netted in left under of De Gea who was not making any move at all. 1 -0 for Liverpool and seemed a very good come for Gerrard.
Until the 80' minutes Gerrard's goal still separating the two teams, but one lucky corner that flicked it by Welbeck well handled by Chicarito to squeeze his header into Reina's net. Little pea such quickness and awareness  made Liverpool have to loose their clean-sheet once more.
Liverpool tried to made a fast response through Kuyt's volley from Enrique's perfect timing past but was safely block by De Gea. Henderson's chip and Skrtel's volley strike later on should make Liverpool in front of Manchester Utd. But no goal netted until 3 minutes after 90 minutes normal time made both teams have to share one point. And Manchester Utd have relegated to second spot as Manchester City sinks Aston Villa two hours later
